It is easy to get to Pescasseroli:
from the Abruzzo side
follow the motorway Roma-Aquila-Pescara,
exiting at the Aielli-Celano or
Pescina
toll and climbing across Gioia dei
Marsi
from the Lazio side
follow the Rome-
Naples motorway
and exit at the Frosinone toll
then follow the super-motorway for Sora and
go
through the pass Forca d'Acero
or exit at
the Casino toll,
heading for Atina, San Donato
val Comino
and the Forca d'Acero pass.
Be
very careful on these mountain roads
which
during the winter season are only
negotiable
with chains.
